We’re 10 years old but it feels like we’re just getting started!

How did we get here?

2014: The Beginning

OneTouch Health was founded in Galway, Ireland in 2014. We were initially a digital app designed to combat loneliness amongst the elderly but we quickly pivoted to a care management system to better meet the needs of our customers. We had a vision to revolutionise the healthcare industry through digital transformation, and we started our journey by focusing on developing a user-friendly, integrated care management system designed to improve patient care and streamline operations for our customers.

2016: A Year of Milestones

In 2016, we achieved several significant milestones that marked a new phase of growth and recognition for the company. We secured funding from Enterprise Ireland and Jenson Funding Partners, which played a pivotal role in accelerating our development and expanding our reach in the social care sector.

That same year, OneTouch Health was honored with the itag (Innovation Technology AtlanTec Gateway) award for Best Tech Start-Up. This accolade recognised our innovative approach and our commitment to excellence in the social care technology industry.

2017: UK Expansion

In 2017, OneTouch Health successfully launched its services in the United Kingdom, marking a significant step in our expansion efforts. Shortly after the launch, we won the Local Solutions Tender, further establishing our presence and reputation in the UK healthcare market. This achievement demonstrated our ability to meet the specific needs of local care providers and highlighted the effectiveness of our care management system. Over the next three years we continued to expand and grow our UK footprint, winning significant contracts with key providers in the care market such as the pioneering providers of complex care Active Care Group.

February 2020: Expanding Our Impact

In February 2020, we won a significant contract with Durham County Council. This partnership underscored our growing influence and ability to deliver effective care management solutions to diverse providers such as local authortities and councils. The contract with Durham County Council is a testament to our commitment to improving care delivery and our capacity to scale our solutions to meet the needs of larger organisations.

2022: Strategic Acquisition and Investment

In 2022, OneTouch Health expanded its capabilities and market presence through the strategic acquisition of tri.x a leading provider of procedures to empower social care professionals and providers. This acquisition allowed us to integrate tri.x’s expertise and resources into the OneTouch Health Group, enhancing our ability to provide comprehensive social care solutions. The combined strengths of OneTouch Health and tri.x have positioned us to better serve our clients and drive further innovation in the care sector.

In addition, August Equity announced a significant investment in OneTouch Health in 2022. This investment provided us with the financial resources to accelerate our growth and expand our technological offerings, solidifying our position as a leader in care technology.

2023: A Year of Accolades and Growth

In 2023, OneTouch Health continued its expansion and recognition within the healthcare industry. We acquired Autumn Care a residential care software provider based in Perth, Australia. This acquisition has further broadened our service offerings and has given us access to a brand new marketplace and new customers.

This year also saw us being named to Deloitte Ireland’s Technology Fast 50 list, highlighting our rapid growth and success in the technology sector. Additionally, we were honored with the award for Most Innovative Solution at the Leaders in Care Awards, a testament to our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that improve care management. We also won the Building Better Healthcare Award for Best Healthcare Software.

2024: Another Acquisiton

We have continued to bolster our range of care management solutions with the acquistion of OnePlan. This strategic acquisition aligns with our growth strategy of expanding its comprehensive range of product offerings to providers of all sizes across the care market, while continuously advancing our technologies and enhancing user experiences.

Since our inception, we have been committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to address the evolving needs of the care sector. Our initial offerings included electronic health records and carer management systems, which quickly gained traction among care providers for their intuitive design and robust functionality.

Expansion and Impact

Over the years, OneTouch Health has expanded its footprint beyond Ireland, reaching care providers and organisations across the UK and more recently in Australia. Our solutions have been adopted by care homes, residential care organisations, domicialiary care providers, complex care organisations, local authorities and councils – enabling them to deliver better care to their patients while optimising their operational efficiency.
