Evolving our leadership to serve you better – an update from the OneTouch Health Group

GALWAY – 14 April – Galway-based technology firm OneTouch Health has set an ambitious target to support the delivery of 100 million hours of care annually through its industry-leading solutions by 2028. To spearhead this ambitious growth, the Group has appointed Neil McGough as Chief Executive Officer, while founder Dermot Clancy moves into the newly established role of Chief Innovation Officer alongside Dr Sati Sian as Chairman.
The leadership appointments follow a period of significant growth for OneTouch Health, which has seen it reach several key operational milestones. The company’s cloud-based care management solutions are now used in over 4,000 registered care locations across Ireland, the UK, and Australia. OneTouch Health has supported more than 100,000 carers to deliver care for over half a million people to date, and the new leadership team are confident they can grow from 70 million hours annually to a landmark 100 million hours by 2028.
Neil McGough joins OneTouch Health as CEO from Learnosity, a global leader in AI-driven education technology, where he served as Chief Product Officer. With experience supporting over 40 million users and bringing AI-powered, human-centered products to market, he will focus on organisational excellence and delivering high-quality and reliable solutions to care providers.
McGough said: “The challenges facing the domiciliary and home care sectors are intense. Demand is growing and care requirements are becoming increasingly complex. At the same time, our customers face tighter margins, workforce shortages and increased regulation. I look forward to building on the amazing work Dermot has done by ensuring we enable our customers to deliver the best care they are capable of – effective, efficient and enabled by best-in-class technology.”
As Chief Innovation Officer, Dermot Clancy will focus on his core passion of working closely with customers and ensuring his experience and understanding of the realities of delivering care stay central to the OneTouch vision. He will also support Neil with company, product and partnership strategy.
Clancy said: “I’m incredibly proud of the company we’ve built over the last ten years and the value we have delivered for our customers. With his reputation for delivering truly excellent products, I know that Neil is exactly the right person to grow our company while staying true to our ethos of keeping customer needs front and centre at all times.
“For my part, I’m looking forward to focusing on what OneTouch has always done best – connecting with our customers, deeply understanding their current and future needs, and working as part our leadership team to enable truly outstanding care.”
Alongside McGough, Dr Sati Sian moves from his role as board member and strategic advisor, to Chairman of OneTouch Health. Dr Sian has worked closely with the business since the initial 2022 investment by August Equity and brings a proven track record of scaling high-growth health-tech leaders, including Agilio, Allocate and Evaluate.
